Who I Would Dance With

I know that many of y'all are not into the awards thing. But dang it, I love how they make me feel so special. And since I feel that many of the blogs I read and enjoy are special....I want to pass on that feeling.  So I created my very own Crazed Mind award.  It is so fitting from me.  It is the "Dance Award"!
Because I feel there is always time to dance.  You can Cha-Cha in the bedroom, Mombo in the kitchen, Twist while brushing your teeth and Waltz away the afternoon.  It makes you feel good and always brings a smile to your face.

So this award is for the very blogs that ALWAYS makes me Feel Good and ALWAYS Brings A Smile to my face.  You don't have do anything special...pass it along, follow tons of rules or tell me deep dark secrets (some of which I already know.)  All you have to do is Dance.  Yes, give it a whirl......dance for yourself, for others, for the kids, with the special someone......Dance, Dance, Dance!

My favorite make me feel good dance blogs (and this award goes too!) are:

Real Housewives of Oklahoma -The only group that makes me really want to be out of Texas

Thoughts of an Oxymoron -The best place in town to kick back with a glass of wine.

Terzula's words -A child like heart that is so filled with love, wonder and awe!

The Crazy Suburban Mom -my 1950's modern housewife...you make me always smile.

LoveMy2Dogs -the first 1/2 of 2 great women

Aunt Rene -the other 1/2 of 2 great women

An Unusual Outlook on Life  -my very own College Girl

Us and Them  -I am always watching for a new sign.

I hope that all of these blogs (and blog owners) know they really do brighten up the day for people.  Please Please Please keep on writing.  There is so much talent in this group of folks.  And y'all are all invited over for cocktails and dancing anytime!

Tweet with the Best of Them

We all know that there is FTC regulations and we all must comply. I love that they have a disclosure engine to help me out there.

And you can sign up for sponsored tweets today. With just one click, then tweet tweet your way to those sweet deals. Oh and just to know you can roll with the big time. Well, I know it is not that bad. But I am back, fat, happy and sassy!

I loved my time for a lil run away and of course my OCD cleaning habit was helped along too!

But, as always, I have been busy as a beaver looking at what else I could do. And thought you might like to see the direction the new site is going. Tell me what we should add?

VERIZON Still Killing ME!

I tried a new exercise program called FUTILE WORKS!

It is where you call VERIZON (who pulled your Internet without cause and has to take two weeks to get it reinstated),

then you push a million buttons (great finger exercise)

....lose you temper and end up screaming at the universe in general (you know how important it is to get good breathing when you exercise)

and end up when you slam the phone and pull your hair out (that is before the cool down period).
No that is not my new program but it sure did get my blood pressure up and my pulse racing!

Yes, I am out begging Internet hook ups on the street. Thank goodness Mary is letting me hunker down in front of her computer for a few moments to get out a blog or two. So bear with me as I am hit and miss for a lil while. I will check on all of y'all Thursday when I get my next Internet fix....I will be jonesing for a fix by then!!!!

Kreativ Blog

Wow, I sure am lucky these days. Day two of awards. Makes me feel quite special.
The Kreativ Blogger award came from

Now for the rules for this award!

1. Thank the person who nominated you for this award. CHECK

4. Nominate 7 Kreativ Bloggers.

Ok my nominated blogs for Kreativ-ity are:

The poor college students guide to raising a baby
This dear lady is working so hard on caring for hearth and home while going to classes as is her dear hubby. She also runs an etsy store and does some fantastic quilts. As a matter of fact she is working one for me right now for my family reunion. Go see Josie and tell her hey for me.

What's Cooking for the wonderful and Kreativ recipes. Some of the best food ever is hanging out over there.

Eco-Friendly Mommy for all the hard work she is doing on trying to be and share how to be green.

An Unusual Outlook on Life -
I love the hard work that College Girl puts into her schooling. Sometimes I am lucky enough to get a glimpse of it here.

Livin' Our Love Song -every post here starts with a title to a song. They tie in very well with the love of music this lady and her dear hubby have. LOL they spent all day yesterday playing rock band too!

Etsy It Up! shares new shops with us daily. Gosh how I love the Kreativ ladies who have these shops.

One Day, One Dollar for a new savings every day! Sure helps that someone is watching the bargains for us.

I was working out at Curves last week when I was asked How to Make Money Blogging. Well I

Blog What You Love, The Money Will FollowImage by gumption via Flickr

know you can make a little money with a blog. But not enough in my opinion to support an individual or family. But of course every lil bit helps too! Especially in this economy.

Blogging for Money almost sounds like a game show doesn't it. But there are many of us who do make a little. What I see most is reviews. Now from what I have seen, reviews do not garner you any money. But you can get product for yourself. It is very hard to review an item if you do not have the item on hand. Correct. For example last week we had a wonderful meal over at Nessa's house. And part of the dinner was to see how we liked the main course. She had used a new oil to cook in. Did we like it? Why? Would she use it again? This was for a review. Now what is the value of a bottle of cooking oil? Yes, it helps to have every lil bit that we do not have to purchase ourselves. But in the big picture it is not all that much either.

So the best I see is that with our blogs we can do Revenue Sharing. Yes we may bring in a lil money to help with a bill or two. But we can also use the products that we would normally buy to review too. Is this income. Yes. And would you use different ways to supplement yours?

To Host or Not To Host

What do you know about web hosting? You see I do not know a lot about how so much of this works. Nessa tells me about how she is buying her own domain. Heck I am buying my home, what other domain do I need?
Oh, she nudge me and said I was being silly. OK, I know the domain is where her blog lives. I know that I can find places to help me with blog hosting. I still need to learn more though. Do you own your own domain?
So if your going to do your own site where do you go to learn all the ins and outs of it? I know, I know, I am a CD (computer dummy) and it is even worse now. Yeah, remember that new DELL I have for my birthday? Well now I have to learn about windows on it and on the net book. So there is Vista and XP and I am still just a MAC girl. Oh my word!
Oh and I just remembered all we have done to come up with domain names for Nessa. Like naming a new born child. How do we do that when we do not know the personality yet. Yeah, well at least you can get free domain names if you look around. Well I still have some learning to do. And as usual I am going to read up on this blog about it. We all know how much information we can find on blogs.
Well tell me about your hosting or not hosting decisions. Which? Why? What name?

Tagged in a 6 Things Meme

I was tagged for the 6 things meme by Decisionally Challenged

The Guidelines
1. Link to the person or persons who tagged you.
2. Post the rules on your blog.

The cast-off exuvia of a spider after molting.Image via Wikipedia

3. Write six random and/or revealing things about yourself.
4. Tag six people at the end of your post and link to them.
5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged and leave a comment on their blog.
6. Let the tagger know when your post entry is up on your site.

First: I am frightened of water bugs and spiders! When I see them I scream, holler and threaten my Dear Hubby that he will never hear the end of it if that "creature" does not die. He laughs. Ok he will kill a water bug but no a spider ever. He saves the lil monsters every time. What can I do when I am perched up on top of the toilet or chair?

Second: I am a really nervous person but have learned how to cover it up really well! Most people think that I am bold and outgoing but inside I am nervous of what people think of me. I have learned to just keep this bold front up and hide those anxieties and fears.

Third: My favorite color is PINK. But, when I was younger I always wore browns and blues. I hid with those colors. Made myself non-descript. That way I blended in to the crowd. Now I have learned to be brighter. And to enjoy all those colors that are in the rainbow. But I still love that girly pink the most of all.

Fourth: I have hammer toes. LOL Ok a lot of people do. But I do like that my shoes are at least half a size smaller because my toes curl in the way they do. Everything about me is so big I want something to be smaller. So I take those lil things where ever I can.

Fifth: I am becoming a book reviewer. As a matter of fact you will see a review this week if not sooner. LOL I adore reading and am so happy to find I can review books now. Don't you love the idea of getting to share with others what you enjoy!

Sixth: I am an avid blog reader. I am pretty good about commenting daily on the blogs I follow. But I make sure to always read all the blogs I follow. So add me to you and I will check you out too! Just remember I have been dubbed the Comment Queen!

Hope you liked my 6 things. Now I get to tag six of y'all. Ok here it goes:

New Program to Help Bloggers

I am trying a new program called Zemanta.
It was listed on Blogger as a great way to add links and photos to your blog.
I am wondering when it will "pop" up?

I have been typing a few sentences and according to what I read I should be having a bar show up.
No not one with a ice cold margarita.
Of course that would be helpful too!

Related photos to the blog post pop up to use.
Like this one...

It also adds related links to other blogs.
And useful tag too.

Have you used Zemanta?
Does it work for you?

Ask Crazee Juls

I heard the new "blog" when it first cried out. "Read Me!" It was a small weak sound but was growing into a roar soon enough. You know how these new ones are. Look all sweet and innocent, suck you in with that new blog smell. Then before you know it...all heck has broken loose. You are there in the middle of the night checking on it, rocking it back to sleep for the night. First thing in the morning, you have your cup of coffee and fingers are clicking away to see if the "blog" has woken up yet? Then you start sharing pictures and information on how much it has grown. People know that your going to pull out your wallet and the photo inserts are going to flutter to the ground---as any proud relative would.

Well here is my first photo! And an invitation to go and visit for yourself.
