Surprise for College Girl

College Girl received a new surprise from us (the loving Parental Units) this weekend. Well, first I want to say that CG is unique in most ways. She is not a girly girl at all but still loves fashion. So we are always on the lookout for something that just says HER. And we think we did it this time. We found her a titanium ring that is a concave band. It is different yet still simple (the way she likes things). And quality too! We even was able to have her initials engraved on the inside too.
What do you think? Pretty! Unique!
We love it and she was jumping up and down when she saw it. What a perfect production gift to give her for Saturday nights play at her University. See here is another shot of her ring.

I just had to share this with you. We have not found much that just says simple yet perfect at the same time. And to find this Titanium Wedding Band at a good price. (Of course, College Girl is not using it as a wedding band.) Well, I knew you would want to go and look and see what else is there. You can pop over to Tungsten Rings Online and find all kinds of bands. They have gold, platinum, ceramic, tungsten, milgrain, palladium, titanium and others still. And they have lifetime warranties on the rings. Check them out. Oh and here is a close up of College Girls ring. Isn't it beautiful in it's simple lines yet still unique. You can tell we love this ring.

Can I Exchange My IRA for Gold?

Remember me telling you about my Dear Hubby and his IRA? Yeah, he had come home with

some information and silly me did not understand what it was. Well, we have more information now in the mail. I am glad he is keeping up with this as I do not have a head for numbers. Being dyslexic does not help at all.
Well, like I was saying before I had found out that there was a
gold 401k. But I did not know how to put gold in an IRA. Of course I do not have the gold. Wouldn't that be nice to have though? Well, I agree it would be heavy to carry around. Guess that is why we came up with the currency exchange anyway. Better minds than mine a long time ago.
But how would you do a
gold IRA transfer? And what are the benefits of 401k gold? Of course I always have to go and look things up. So off to google how to put gold in my IRA . I found out that Investors are placing physical gold in IRA's. Do you think it would be helpful to have a IRA that is backed up by gold?

There is Gold in Them Thar IRA's

Times are tough around here as well as every where else. Dear Hubby came home last night and told me about his IRA. I stuttered for a moment. Yeah, silly me hears words wrong. I could not figure out what he meant. Was this about some rifle association or Iraq war? No, duh, it is about our retirement. Well, I thought we would have to get a rifle and go to some war to ever get any money to retire on any way.

But instead he is sharing how he is putting money into his IRA account to help us later on. I did tell you he was my Dear Hubby. How thoughtful to know he will have to support me in our old age. But I of course got all curious and looked things up online. I found out there is also gold IRA. Yes I said GOLD. Now why didn't he get one of these accounts? So then I wanted to know how to put gold in an IRA. Is there a gold 401k somewhere that I could buy. Surely not!

But yeah there really is IRA gold and a web site that will tell you how to put gold in my IRA . Well not mine but in yours. Of course I wouldn't mind if you wanted to contribute to my retirement plan. So what are you plans for paying for those golden years? Saving in an IRA? Or are you stashing all the good stuff under your mattress? Tell me.

The Midas Touch

Midas had the golden touch.
He could turn anything into gold.
And that became his curse.

But with today's economy it sure would come in handy.
To have the ability to go and sell that gold would help.
I know that it is hard for almost everybody right now.
But some people may have just that Midas touch.

I bet someone out there may have a gold coin or two that could bring them in a lil fortune.
And you can check out what coins are worth by popping over to this gold site.
You have heard of places that buy gold right?
Well you also can sell your silver too.

Of course you have to have it.
So check in your attic or grandma's old coin collection.
You just may be sitting on a little treasure yourself.
