Dear Hubby is so happy that one of his favorite shows is back on. Last year we learned about Southland. It was a very interesting show that is filmed in an interesting way. Making the show come across with a raw and authentic look. Fast paced showing a police unit in Los Angeles and it catches your breath right from the start. We are now in Season 3 and you want to see every show. They are short seasons on TNT. Do not miss out!
I am such a happy (but still ill) woman. Why? Well because my bloggy friends have been so nice to me today.
First look at the beautiful bracelet above.
Isn't beautiful? I love all these fun bright glass beads. I feel so dressed up wearing this gift. Yes, Gift! Tracy who is the Crazy Suburban Mom sent me this wonderful No Day Gift. What a wonderful surprise to have in the mail today. Thanks so much Tracy. I am so touched that you put so much work into this gift. My Dear Hubby also loves it. He said it could not be more perfect! Can y'all believe that CSM said " Now if I knew it was you I would have sent something vintage instead of something I made... I think I boo-boo'ed"? No way did she boo-boo. Tracy this is beautiful. Again thanks so much.
Now on to the next thing that made me feel so amazing. Ya-Ya over at Ya-Ya's Changing World did the best blog about me. She made me feel so honored. Thank you Ya-Ya! She said "It is always fun to visit Lynette." Isn't that nice! I love visiting with Ya-Ya and in the past was so much fun to watch her dance too. I adore anyone who can dance with abandon. And then the third thing (yeah even more today) was a package in the mail from YOUCAST. They sent meThe Complete First Season of SouthLAnd (uncensored). What a wonderful gift. Not just one series but enough for every one who was at my SouthLAnd Season 2 premiere at my home. So now I can pass out copies to all my friends. I can not wait for a Sunday viewing day!
So today is a Whoot! Whoot! Whoot! day after all. Thanks everyone for the bloggy love. It has made me feel better.
Did you see SouthLAnd last night? We loved the premier on TNT. Dear Hubby was riveted to the screen.
Nessa (you know from over at Ramblings of a Texas Housewife) made sure to be here for the fun. Pop over to see what she thought of the show too!
Emma's parental units arrived to see the drama. They loved the realistic feel of SouthLAnd.
And here is the rest of the gang checking out the gangs on TV. Last but never least were the fantastic guys who arrived also. Showing off the muscle and discussing the aspects of SouthLAnd.
Whew! That was a really great show. I am glad that we were able to see the show from last season beforehand. Nitty-gritty has been used to describe SouthLAnd but I found it to have a realistic feel. Especially compared to other TV dramas. I hope that y'all enjoyed the premier as much as the rest of us did. I know next Tuesday night I will be riveted to the screen again.
Yes, I am starting another lil fun weekday blog post. Tuesday TV is for those must see shows. You may remember I told you to watch "Men of a Certain Age". I have so enjoyed that series. But more so has been Dear Hubby. We both agree that there is not too many shows that show how real men feel. This one sure did. Well we have another TNT show coming up that I think you may also enjoy. "SouthLAnd" has moved over to TNT and has the season premier coming up next Tuesday (3-2-10 @ 9 pm central). We both enjoy drama on TV and the portrayal of how law enforcement works. Pop over to their site and get a preview of what is to come. I can not wait for out viewing party next Tuesday. I will tell you more about that real soon!
