Have you moved lately? I did about 4 years ago. I am a very very organized person. And I make all kinds of plans when I move. Down to blue prints as to where all the furniture will go in the new home. But what was so nice last time was that I did not have to do it all.

Our satellite TV service is with Direct TV and they did all of our move for me. I just picked up the boxes and remotes and took them with us. A service man came and put up a new dish on the house and then set up everything for me. Whew! I loved it.

Have you ever used Directv? I had cable before and I would never want to switch back. I am so happy with the service I get. So much so that now there is a receiver in every bedroom along with the living room. We do not watch much TV in our bedroom but Dear Hubby plays a lot of games on the TV. Yeah they have games like Scrabble and Skip-BO.

Direct TV in Texas is pretty popular. We know of many of our friends and neighbors who have hooked up to satellite. Of course we are out in the boondocks. And TV reception is non-existent without some sort of help from a cable or satellite company.

Lesson One: Relax

With everyone gone tonight, it would be a great time for a lil DirecTV.
You know some put up your feet and unwind time.

I do not get to watch much of our Direct T V.
Maybe a show or two a week at best.
But it is nice to have when I am ready.

If it was not for the Direct TV then we would not have any reception here.
We just live way way way too far from any city of size to pick up anything.
And of course with all the changes now there is not a such thing as "rabbit ears" for television.

CG Still Toils Away

Well CG has just one more day left of her spring break. She has helped me so much with the GrandBabes here. Top that off with a paper she has been working on all week for a final. Sad to say her time she had planned to for Direct TV has gone a lil hay wire.

I wish we could afford to hook her up at school. The only have cable there. There are not any Direct TV Options. I was doing a lil research online to see what she could do. And I found this spot that will help you out. It does the search for you. You type in where you live (zip code) and what your interested in (like hd, sports, movies, ect.) and all the options in that area show up for you. Even the phone numbers to call. Makes research a lil easier.

I know CG wishes her research for the term paper was this easy. But alas she must toil away at it. And if all goes well maybe she can fit in a lil Direct T V before she leaves.
