Verizon DE-AMPED Me!

I am aggravated!

I am upset!

I am very very sad!

WHY?

Because I do not have any internet at my home right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well as many of y'all know, I wear many different hats. And one of the is of a answering service operator. I have been answering the calls of a local plumber for 4 years now. And in return he provided our home phone and internet. Well with this failing economy his business is not doing the best. So he is having the service pulled and his wife is picking it up. That makes all the sense in the world.

But, I am having to set up home phone and internet service. Ok, I can do that!

We contacted VERIZON (I say their name cause I am currently pretty ticked off at them.) and set up new service on the 30th of the month. All would get switched out then. Good, good.

Til last night.

I came home from another hat wearing position (antique store clerk) to pop on and visit with all of y'all. I am sure you notice I was not around! Sure nuff I wasn't. Why?

Well it seems VERIZON (yes, them again) had pulled my internet service already! Why? We don't know. I called and they can not do a thing til they open again on Monday. Lord knows 3 days without internet will wear me to a frazzle. I mean take the TV or the really warm blanket for a few days. Anything but the internet (oh and of course Coffee)!

So, come Monday afternoon (I am doing the Curves workout helper hat in the morning.) I can call VERIZON and see what is going on. Til then?

Well keep the internet home fires burning for me, ya' hear!

Thank Ya'

Fresh Start

Would you like a "Fresh Start"? Like a refreshing drink of cool water, so many of us need to "rehydrate" with life.

So many of us are trapped by harmful habits, behaviors, and attitudes. I know I struggle to become the person God created and called me to be. Doug Fields, the pastor of Saddleback Church, says it’s never too late to get a fresh start. He has written a book filled with personal stories and a fresh approach in his writing. Age doesn’t matter; fresh starts are for everyone.

Topics in the book include:

* Dealing with pride
* Defining success
* Living with guilt
* Struggling with conflicts
* Finding true friendships
* Overcoming discouragement
* Facing rejection
* Attacking anger
I found that reading on how I can handle my guilt is important. I feel guilty when I eat. And then I get angry that other people can eat and I can not. Of course then I start to binge. So the cycle starts again. In removing the guilt of eating, as it is necessary to my survival, I can learn to start eating in normal proportions. Knowing that God does not want me to feel guilty nor go without the food he has provided for me gives me a tool to use. I get to have a "Fresh Start" on my eating habits.

Where do you need a "Fresh Start" at? What is the downfall that pulls you back time and time again? And how are you going to get back on track? Maybe it is time for you to read "Fresh Start" and see where it leads you.

What to do, what to do, what to do

Oh man I don't even know which way to turn. Anger is burning through me. I don't know weather to just come unglued or to do my best to keep a calm rational mind here. Nothing happened in a way but at the same time the intent was there. And my waking up is what stopped it from going any farther. Of course I had to just get up and leave right then. Make sure safety was installed. Then to deal with it all. Men who are drunk and can't seem to sober up fast just make me madder. Why is it a woman can see a situation and boom she is right back to game face and doing what has to be done. And it seems men just wonder around lost. Have to deal with others also. What do I do. Do I talk? I feel like the abuse victim all over again. Yet I was not the intended target at all. Dancing around is not my style. Families can sure mess up life. No wonder I am always wondering why I have to deal with them. So much easier to create your own families from the people you choose to be in your life. Last night was suppose to be fun. Friends showing up to make my husband happy. Show him they are glad he is here. Support and good times. But of course unexpected family shows up and then this happens. She is safe. Not in my home right now. But safe. Yeah dashing out in the middle of the night to take her to someone else's home. Makes me feel like I am really doing my job--NOT! Oh men! Bonding between them, brothers. Where do you break in. How much do you deal with. Starts pulling in more and more. Was way over the line. Anger with a sweet smile on it. Go through the actions. Hi, welcome, choke and gag. Make me ill with deceit. Support your family girl. Be mom, be wife, be all yet don't show it all. Keep what your suppose to inside. She is safe for now. Where do we do what we need to do? Have no idea right now.
