Christmas Gift Giveaway

Today was the massive wrapping of the Christmas gifts.  It is always such a big chore.  But my niece showed up and helped me with the task.  Hallelujah!    I have it down to a routine though.  From making the list of who has what, to the stacks of gifts waiting in the closet, to the cards to go on them.  But it is an all day task.  I thought I would share with you some of the ones we have picked out for our family.

download Santa Paws 2 Recipes and Activities! The first one is Disney's Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups.  This was just released on Dear Hubby's birthday.  I have this one picked out for Princess Emma.  She already has 3 dogs at home and is great at helping care for them with her parents.  So we are giving her this DVD as part of her gifts.  She already owns the first movie.  Princess Emma has Buddy, her 3 legged Great Pyrenees doggie.  So the pups here are just a continuation of her own pet too.

The last visit with my Grandbabe TK, she asked me where chocolate comes from.  I was telling her it came from a cocoa bean.  Well as we talked she was wanting to see more and understand it.  Thanks to Glee Gum I can show her.  They have a Make Your Own Chocolate kit.  In it there is even cocoa nibs for her to understand that it really does start off from a plant.  Last year we made our own gummies with the help of Make Your Own Candy Kits    It is not only fun to get to do a kit together they are great tasting too!  Glee Gum would like to share with you too.  So you can win a candy making kit of your choice at the bottom with a rafflecopter entry.  You can visit Glee Gum at Glee Gum's Facebook (Glee Gum) and Twitter (@gleeguy).  The Make Your Own Candy Kits make great holiday gifts. And this year they are offering a 30% off holiday sale on a special Candy Kit Combo (a package deal on 3 Make Your Own Candy Kits, 1 of each kind) at GleeGum.com. Please visit the Candy Kit Combo page for details.

Now we plan on sharing memories with my brother in law.  Growing up many of us knew it was almost Christmas when the specials came on television.  We all had our favorites weather it was  “Frosty the Snowman,” “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town” or “Frosty Returns.” Watching these iconic TV specials are part of our holiday tradition, just like baking cookies or making holiday jam!  Poppi (Princess Emma's dad) still with rush to beat you to the TV to see Bumble in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.   Personally I was a Frosty the Snowman fan.  Which one did it for you?  Dear Hubby is over in the Charlie Brown Christmas camp.  Well my Brother in Law can see all The Orginial Christmas Classics thanks to this gift from us.

Another gift is the MY LITTLE PONIES: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC: ADVENTURES IN THE CRYSTAL EMPIRE DVD.  Princess Emma has the whole collection of My Little Pony shows.  Of course she has a few ponies too.  What lil girl does not dream of having her own horse.  Well this is a way to share that dream and the fantasy of another world.  This DVD was just released today!

For my youngest Grandbabe, I am feeding into his love of VeggieTales.  I have to say that I think these are some of the best beginning movies for young children.  So he is going to get VeggieTales: The Ultimate Christmas Collection DVD.  This set contains VeggieTales’ entire Christmas collection. Now your family can enjoy classic holiday shows The Toy That Saved Christmas—a lesson in giving; The Star of Christmas—a lesson in how to love; Saint Nicholas—a story in joyful giving; It's a Meaningful Life—a lesson in being content; and our all time favorite,The Little Drummer Boy—a story about hope, love and forgiveness. Also included in the collection is the VeggieTales: Christmas Sing-along Songs DVD and 25 Favorite Christmas Songs! CD.
