Once again we have a guest.  Actually I think it is more like family you know.  The Other Mother at Rants and Raves along with Princess Emma have been looking though my children's book collection.  And of course there is a pink pig wearing a purple tutu....well The Princess loves that one.  As a matter of fact she was a doll her last night in her purple fairy outfit.    Any way, they borrowed a book from me and have had it as their go to bed ritual every since.  This is what the Other Mother has to say:

Backstage at The Heart Truth's Red Dress Colle...Bedtime can be a hassle around here so we got into the routine of you have 30 minutes to get your wiggles out, go potty, brush teeth and then comfy and cozy its time for a story. The Poo loves for us to read to her.  As a reward for working so hard our friend Lynette @ Crazed Mind let us borrow a wonderful story for the Poo to hear at bedtime. Dream Big Little Pig by Olympic skater Kristi Yamaguchi is such a wonderful story. Poppy the pig has big dreams, just like my angel. In the story Poppy wants to be a famous star and tries many things. Nothing seems to work out for Poppy and the teachers keep telling her this just isn't for you. It is so sweet to hear Poo cheering her on " You can do it if you try!" Poppy dreams of being a figure skater and even though there are those who think pigs can't skate. Poppy achieves her dream just by doing something she loves. Poppy's family and best friend are very supportive of her dreams and it is very inspiring to a little girl who wants to be a football playing ballerina doctor. We have very much enjoyed borrowing this book.  It is a great story for boys and girls alike who have big dreams and parents who encourage them and help them to strive for their goals. The pictures are beautiful and the story reaches out to little ones and grown ups alike!

DISCLOSURE: I received a complimentary copy of this book to facilitate this review. No other compensation was provided.  Do you think I should let the Princess keep this copy?  All who do chime in and let me know.  Help out the Poo!

Colorful Dream

Hey go and visit at Crazee Scotts!
I am the guest blogger today.
I think you will love the story to say the least.
Let me know!

Special Thanks to Charity (one of DH's Bosses) for the lovely pic

The above picture is titled "Colorful Dream". And it is a dream come true for many people. First this is CG's baby sister Emma on her poppa's side. Emma is also her mothers only child. And she was conceived when poppa was 50 years old. Yeah! 50! Of course we all love her. Now on to my thoughts.

Fantasies twirl away in all of our minds. We dream wild things from flying to being a wild animal to winning the lottery (that we never play) or just finding that person who wants to hold us and keep us safe. And the dreams keep us sane. We don't go wild up and down the streets (well we are not counting Crazee Juls-lol). Having our fantasies we can take out our frustrations on those with out ever telling them. Or imagine what it would be like to be loved by another. And are we not glad of it?

Mine? First and foremost is a boring one but what I most dwell on. Just being able to pay my bills and have money for food and necessities along with some we can put up to save. Not asking much????? Well, I know many people are in the same spot. I no longer dream of that special someone now that I have DH--he is the one! Wild fantasy??? Hummmmm--now that is a hard one for me. I guess it would really be losing at least 100 lbs. (I still would not be small-but healthier).

So, what is your fantasies? What are your wildest dreams? Or the one you dwell on the most?

Swan Princess

Did any one else love watching The Swan? Where they take two women and do a total make over on them with plastic surgery, dental work, diet and exercise. You spend months away from home. And you have two brand new people come out of it. Amazing differences! I was enthralled by the show and the idea of being "beautiful".

I am in my 40's and way past the time that my body is going to greatly change. Of course everything has taken a downward droop too. If I was going to do a total makeover I would start with the top. I would have to have Breast Enlargement Advice. Not that I need them larger, just where they belong. I know, I know! TMI!

But doesn't everyone have some fantasy of how they would change something. I remember as a lil girl I wanted to have pink hair and bright blue eyes. Now as a woman I just want things to look like they are suppose to. Well since I am not a Swan, I guess I just have to keep on exercising.
