Friends Paying It Forward-$100 Gift Card

To kick off Crazed Mind's 2012 Christmas Gift Guide I wanted to share.  Share with you and share my friends.  And I am doing this by hosting a $100 Gift Card giveaway!  I mean what gift is better than friends helping out friends.  And gosh, who can not use an extra $100 to help out with the Christmas budget?

You see when I first started this blog I had the help of a very good friend, Nessa of Texas Housewife.  She spent so much time with me sharing the ins and outs of blogging and social media.  Little by little I grew.  Then I shared with some of my friends and they did with theirs too.  That is how this whole community grows so.  We meet others while hopping from blog to blog and before you know it we have been sharing our lives for 3 years now.

Well when I first started out every single new follower was the most exciting thing.  IT was like Christmas every day.  So I wanted to do just that....make Christmas every day for others.  So with the help of my friends and then add in the friends they want to support we came up with Friends Paying It Forward.

It is really easy.  Just meet the following bloggers.  Then enter via the Rafflecopter below.  We ask that you leave a blog comment here.  That you follow the friends via GFC (that is the Christmas part!).  Then you can follow also on facebook or twitter if you wish.  It will give you extra entries.  Oh and of course you can tweet!  That is an extra daily entry!  On November 1st a winner will be randomly chosen.  They will be notified and when they respond within 24 hours they will win $100 gift card via pay pal or through the mail with a Visa or Master Card gift card of their choice.  The physical gift cards may be broken down into two $50 cards.

So meet my friends!

and of course you know me, Crazed Mind.

Of course this giveaway is not sponsered by any other company.  Only myself and a couple of other bloggers trying to reach out and help our friends grow and you win!

Our winner is Schrump.  I have sent an email and am waiting on a response of acceptance.  Congrats to SCHRUMP!

    1. Those lil samples are great to put in stocking for senior citizens. They can get several different sets that way and use them to save those pennies. It does count!

  3. We try and pay it forward by sharing all that we can. We do not have much, but if we can help someone out we will in a heart beat!

But I have to say, one of the best stories I have experienced is when someone from my job randomly sent me money in the mail (I have no idea who it is of course) just as a thank you and to buy something we needed. That was the sweetest thing anyone could do. I was floored. Thank you for the giveaway!

  4. We always try to little things when I see they need to be done. I want to teach my kids to always be helpful and not to expect anything in return. From helping someone at the grocery store reach or pick up something. Even sitting with an elderly person who started not feeling well while their grandchild got the car. Giving our mail lady a gift card just because she does a good job. Donating books to our local library or church. Donating clothes to those who don't have alot of money to buy brand new clothes for their little girl. Helping the neighbor cut their grass. Anything because we dont always have money to give. Every year I try to find a family for Christmas and help as much as I can as well from a gift for each member or a Turkey or ham dinner with all the fixings since we always end up eating with other family. .

    1. What wonderful ways to help teach paying it forward. I have always felt that we are on this world to help each other. If not that then what is our purpose?

  5. My husband was recently unemployed for three months. This is the longest my family my has ever been without a steady income. You really find out who your friends are in times like these though - we have one friend who owns a grocery store who told us that we would never go hungry. He sent DELIVERIES to our house once a week. Once a week! I don't know how I'll ever repay him, but man I'd sure like to. My husband has a job now (racking up that overtime) and we are so grateful for the help we got. <3

    1. That is a dear friend! Make sure to share the story so others will use his store as it is a great place that reaches out to others. Also you may place an extra cans of food in your basket each shopping trip. Save those up then donate them to a local food pantry.

  16. My family pays it forward by not only picking out a child from the Angel Tree each year, but we also find out what the nursing homes need and donate to the men and women that live there. We always request someone that doesn't have a family of their own so that we know they'll be getting gifts to open on Christmas.
