My Latest E-Reads Giveaway

I have a couple of e-books to share with you today.  I thought I would not like my e-reader but I was proven wrong.  Instead it is handy as a pocket on a shirt!  Even in the bathtub.  Yeap!  In the tub!  I put my e-reader in a large zip lock bag, zip it closed and put clear tape on the seal to give a double protection.  Then crawl on in my lovely scented tub to soak and read.  One of my true indulgences.  

Well lately I have had the chance to read a romance from  Harlequin Love Inspired Historical through NetGallery. Yeah, it has been ages since I have read one of these.  It takes me back to my teen years.  Way way way back folks.  But it was nice to have the chance to read something that was light enough to be consumed in a tub soak.  

The Cowboy Father is the third of a series by Linda Ford.  It started off with Louise knowing she needed to help her family out.  But having been quite ill for sometime she if fearful of venturing out.  Especially to help a child.  You see Louise's illness left her were she would no longer be able to have a child.  That emptiness created a barrier where she was scared to be near children for desire that would never be satisfied.  

With Alberta in the grip of the Depression, Louisa Morgan is desperate to bolster her family’s finances. But how can she tutor bedridden Ellie Hamilton? The little tomboy is more interested in making mischief than studying sums. My next book was given to me by the author herself.  Sharon Cramer is not new to the book world.  But she is known for her children's series of  Cougar Cub Tails.  She now has ventured off into new territory with The Execution.  I so loved the warning.   WARNING: Do not read in public, or they may think youʼve gone mad with demons of your own! 

Now this is not something you would expect from a children's story teller.  No instead we have gone all the way over to the other side of life.  I have to say this was not a single tub book.  Instead I was up out of the tub and long into the night to finish up.  Not that it is a hard read but instead one that I wanted to hang on too.  You can check out chapter one for yourself!  And in the meantime here is a lil teaser.
