Eye of the Sword-Review

Karyn Henley has written over 100 titles and is an accomplished songwriter. She shares a lil part of my home state of Texas to as a graduate of Abilene Christian University (BSEd).  Karyn is sharing her latest novel  Eye of the Sword , Book 2 of the Angelaeon Circle, with me.

"Where angels walk the ground and the future is told in song, does a man of low rank have a chance at love with a princess?"  This is what first captured my attention.  I knew that feeling.  Can a everyday person show someone they feel is so unattainable that they truly love them and honor them.  And if they manage somehow to do just that, will it be enough to have them desire to love you back?  To prove himself worthy of a princess, Trevin must first defeat the terror of his past.  (Gosh, we have those demons in our past that must tear down first before finding our path in life.)   Challenged to prove his worth, Trevin throws himself into his quest. Challenged to prove his love.  Now I am not much of the fantasy area of books but I always wondered what it would be like to tread where angles walk.  That is a might powerful place there.  This one reminds me of some of the first books I reviewed here of Annie Kelleher.  And once again I am so surprised how I slipped into another world once again.

You can view Chapter One for yourself.  And if your interested then you can do your pre-order and
