To be or not to be; that is the question. There are very few lines penned by The Bard that quite measure up to Hamlet's defining soliloquy. They are words I never thought I'd be able to truly perform - after all, Hamlet is not often a cross-gender-cast role. With Masterpuppet Theater, I finally have my chance - as well as a captive audience. Lol.
Masterpuppet Theater contains over sixty characters printed in their most dramatic full color poses on large cards. Two holes punched in the bottom allow the performer to turn their fingers into the character's legs. From there, everything depends on the provided scenery, provided book of scenes, and vocal talent - not included. The scenes in the book are some of Shakespeare's best. Instructions at the top tell which of the characters (already color coded by play) to use and which of the twelve colorful backdrops to use. There are even directions included for replacement casting - which character card to use for a minor role not already included. Masterpuppet Theater seems to be a brilliantly interactive introduction to Shakespeare's works, appropriate for almost any age to watch and enjoy. Now, if you'll excuse me... {exits, pursued by a bear}
