Today I was attacked!
By a Flock of Flamingos.
Miss Emma found them in my front yard.

This was a fund raiser for the Dallas Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk for the cure.
And some of our local ladies are walking to help raise funds for breast cancer research.
This is one of the ways they are doing it. For a small fee (really!) the flock can FLY to your home and rest on the front lawn for a couple of days. But better yet.......you can have them FLY to someone else's yard too for a lil more of a donation.
That is so cute!
ReplyDeleteThat brought back memories. I remember we had pink flamingos in our yard in El Paso, when I was real little. Don't know why that memory got triggered, cause I know I was younger than 5, but for some reason I seem to recall them.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless!

I love the plastic pink birds, when we have a home with a yard we will have at least one of these tacky birds.
ReplyDeleteMost people who know me, know I HATE pink! I would never in a million years intentionally put anything pink (except flowers cause that a whole other thing) in my yard. Unless, of course, it was for a cause like this one. I may have to scrounge up some dough and see if I can get flamingo-d!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great way to raise money for a wonderful cause!!
