Pulling the Knife Out

What do you do when you have been stabbed in the back?

Good advice....don't be a back stabber!Image by antwerpenR via Flickr

Do you try and be polite and find a delicate way to get out of the situation?

Or do you say no way and react?

Well I can say Thank You to Ann of My World for bestowing this award to me. Ann, as you can see I needed this right now. Thanks so much for recognizing me. It is greatly appreciated. And is the perfect pick me up for right now!

  1. Well, all I can say, now that I'm not crying, is that I am so blessed to have a friend like you. You decided to stand up for treating people fairly and I feel so good that you are standing with my against what I consider great unfairness. If it weren't for the lying she did and complete ugliness, my opinion might be different. But, well she just is so WRONG!

I love you and thanks so much for standing by me!

  2. Hey Kiddo! I don't know what happened, but if I understand correctly, it has something to do with this "business" person against Nessa? Kudos for you standing up for her. You probably handled it better than I would have. I'm not a very tactful person. I would have said what I thought, then turned around, looked at them straight in the eye and said "but I'll be the bigger person anyway, and forgive you. But don't call me, I'll call you, and walked off. God says He cannot forgive those who can't forgive others, but He doesn't say that you're to keep being around the person whom you have forgiven. It just means you've wiped the slate clean for that offense. I don't think I would make any more deals with them though. You know the old saying burn me once shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me. In other words don't give them another chance to do it again. Ok, I've put my dime in. Hope you'll be at Curves tomorrow. I have to clean a house from 10 until about 2, but will be free after that. Call me if it's convenient to get the cans, or let me know when it will be. Whenever it's convenient for you is fine with me.

    Love ya!

  3. I know what it feels like to be stabbed in the back, and by my mother to boot. It totally sucks! I know how you feel to an extent. I know how my mother is and just except that is her way of living.

I hope that things get better for you and soon. Unfortunately sometimes you just have to shake it off and keep on going. I know, easier said than done.

  4. I think you probably handle it better than I would, I tend to get ugly when I have been on the shafting end of things like that.

Hugs to you, I wish I had more to offer.

  5. I hate confrontation so I would probably cut my losses and walk away. I do NOT think this is what you should do at all. I usually regret not standing up for myself. A reputation ruined by another is difficult to rebuild.

  6. I'm so sorry this happened to you, Lynette. Rest easy in your own knowledge of what really transpired.

    Hugs to you

Yippee! You came to talk to me. Thanks.
You know how special that makes me feel?
Like I swallowed the moon and the stars and I just shine now!
