Image via Wikipedia Oh do you dream about family vacations?  I know that I do.  I dream of going to the usual places most families do.  You know the Disney Land, National Parks, Touring the USA type of things.  But more than that I dream of time away from the busy life.  Quiet time that we can use to stay with the basics.  I would like to stop the clock on work and school and bills and have just family time.  My ultimate vacation would be sleeping in til we wake up naturally.  Having fun fixing meals from scratch.  Laying under the shade trees while playing a game of scrabble or checkers with my family.   It is so much fun to be able to jump up at a moments notice and run off to the local lake and go swimming or fishing.  How about the last time you walked the city square while enjoying a big ol ice cream cone.  Have you been bike riding or roller skating around the neighborhood lately.  Pop over to a friends to pitch some horse shoes or a game of basketball.  Yes I know that my Ultimate Family Vacation would not be as exciting to others as it is to me.  But oh to have family time that is not interrupted by work and school and bills would be amazing.
