Show How Much You Care with Kohl's

Do you have one of those kiddos that is all questions?  You know the ones.  What is this, how does it work, why oh why oh why do I have to?  I have two Grandbabes just like this.  They question every single thing we tell them.  Some days I feel that I could scream.

But then I think that it is just that curiosity that makes them so very very smart.  It is like the monkey Curious George.  Always getting into some sort of predicament because he is trying so hard to help.  His heart is bigger than ever and his brain has such racing thoughts.  Isn't this what we really want from our kiddos?  To be giving, loving and ever so curious to learn more.

Well in that very same spirit Kohl's Department Stores has created Kohl's Cares.  This is a program where you can purchase gifts at very very low cost.  Just $5 per item.  And then 100%, yes all of that money is collected to help with the Kohl's Cares program.  Pretty good.  Better?  Well this is to help with children's health and education.  Kohl's was so very kind to share this program with me.  They sent me the book and plush of Curious George that you see above.

So just like Curious George on his First Day of School we too can help out.  Purchase this book and a Curious George plush for $10 and you have done double the giving.   Kohl’s Department Stores is inviting children and families across the country to indulge in playful curiosity while giving back to their communities with the latest Kohl's Cares merchandise program. Now through the end of September, Kohl’s offers exclusive hardcover editions of timeless Curious George books, including Curious George’s First Day of School, Curious George’s Dinosaur Discovery, Curious George and the Puppies, Curious George Visits the Zoo, and Curious George Goes Camping, along with coordinating plush toys, a backpack and note cards for just $5 each. Kohl’s also offers two great cookbooks, Kids Treats and Taste of Home: The Busy Family Cookbook, perfect for meal planning on busy evenings. Since the program’s inception in 2000, the Kohl’s Cares philanthropic program has raised more than $231 million for children’s health and education programs in local communities across the country.
