Take The Time To Enjoy Life

It is amazing how much time you have when you actually make time. I know that sounds silly but it is true. I can spend all day long doing chores, caring for these dogs I am sitting and working online. But it I make an honest effort then I also have time to soak in the (unheated) hot tub, drink a glass of wine and read a good book. You see it is this part of life that makes it all worthwhile.  I make time to relax.  I put it on my schedule.  Now I do not have children to care for 24/7 so that does help.  But even when I do have the Grandbabes for a week I still make the time.  Weather it be while we are at the lake playing in the water or home painting the sidewalk with chalk, I know that there has to be 5 minutes here and there of me time.  To breath in the day, dream a lil about tomorrow and plan out my next event in my head.

This last book that I dug into was worthy of the time and effort.  Rosemary Cottage by Colleen Coble was better than just a romance, deeper than just a mystery and had all the twist and turns of the water jetting around me in the hot tub.  Needless to say I was pretty well water logged by the time I dragged myself out of the tub and put the book up.  Thankfully Rosemary Cottage was so integrating that I never noticed the passage of time.  Oh and the dogs loved having an late afternoon of playing outside and napping on the deck.  Thanks ever so to Litfuse for including me in the blog tour.  This is one that I can't wait to share with Granny M.  She will be curled up on the front porch with it next week, I promise!

About Rosemary Cottage: Amy came to Rosemary Cottage to grieve, to heal, maybe even find love. But there's a deadly undertow of secrets around Hope Island . . .

The charming Rosemary Cottage on the beach offers Amy Lange respite she needs to mourn her brother, Ben. She's even thinking of moving her midwife practice to the Outer Banks community. It's always been a refuge for her and her family. She also wants to investigate Ben's disappearance at sea. Everyone blames a surfing accident, but Amy has reason to wonder.

Coast Guard officer Curtis Ireland has lost a sibling too. His sister, Gina, was run down by a boat, leaving him to raise her infant daughter. If anyone knew who little Raine's father was, Curtis could lose his beloved niece. Yet he can't help being drawn to Hope Beach's new midwife, Amy. He even agrees to help her investigate what happened to both Ben and Gina.

Can two grieving people with secrets find healing on beautiful Hope Island? Or will their quest for truth set them at odds with each other . . . and with those who will go to any length to keep hidden things hidden?
