Rainy Days in Texas

Rainy days and rainy nights sure does make a girl's heart do the pitter pat. At least it does this for me. Hearing the rain hit on the roof while the house is all still and quiet has always been a romantic sound to me. The house tends to be dark from the storm so there will be candles flickering in different rooms (in case of a power outage). Add in the stillness of the air around you and it seems that before you know it all of your senses are electrified.  This is when I pull out a romance to read.  And what better than one set right here at home in Texas.  Love in the Balance by  Regina Jennings had me wishing for those days before.  From the time where a glance could show you are innocent to the strength of a woman's determination to make it in hard times.  With everything in between, there seems to be where love and life happens.

About Love in the Balance
Handsome Cowboy or Debonair Tycoon.
How's a Girl to Choose?
Molly Lovelace dreams of a life without cares in Lockhart, Texas. She also dreams of handsome wrangler Bailey Garner, her ardent but inconsistent beau. The problem is, with Bailey's poor prospects, she just can't fit the two dreams together.
Then mysterious stranger Edward Pierrepont sweeps into town-and her life-and for the first time Molly wonders if she's met the man who can give her everything. But he won't be in Lockhart long and while it certainly seems like he talks about their glorious future together, she can't quite get Bailey out of her mind.
What's a girl to do with all these decisions when love is in the balance?
