Time to Move Back In

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Well the colder weather is beginning to hit here in Texas.  That means it is time for us to bring in all of Granny M's potted plants.  So Dear Hubby and I are doing a ceiling to floor house cleaning room by room to help make room for her plants. We are also covering the window a/c units with plastic to keep from having an extra chill coming through.

Every fall we go through the plant migration.  Then in the spring I spruce up the big ol front porch so they can get back out in the sun.  We seem to alway lose one or two and also end up potting some new ones each year.  This year we can have some fall Inspiration and How-To’s with Miracle-Gro® and the Gardenieres!

We are going to be starting off with Miracle-Gro®  Potting mix It is ideal for all kinds of container or potted plants because it feeds plants for up to 6 months with Miracle-Gro Continuous Release Plant Food  Rich.  The organic materials also help improve drainage and air flow.  You can find out more from fellow gardners when you 'like' the Miracle-Gro Facebook page.  Then pop over to chat with them about how your garden grows or questions to help with your plants.

In the meantime here is a video from the Gardeniers on how to create a potted herb garden.  Something you can grow inside or out depending on the weather.  Also those herbs will be an added asset for cooking.  If you have more than you can use at one time you might want to chop them up.  Then add it to the spots in an ice cube tray.  Fill with olive oil and freeze.  Next time you need some to season a dish just pop out and add to recipe!
