My Stubborn Heart

I had my third shot done in my knee today.  Walking with a bit of a limp still but doing a bit better each week.  Also was able to do a shopping trip for Princess Emma's Kindergarten Graduation Party tonight.  So busy as usual.  

But I did take time out to soak in the tub for about half an hour.  That is my secret indulgence.  Bath salts, soft music and warm water is the way to my heart.  Most of all I want a book to read too.  I finished up Becky Wade's My Stubborn Heart  today.  It was a good read!  I so loved the get away to Pennsylvania where Kate (a Texas gal) was helping her grandmother with a house remodel.  Now you know those hunky handymen that can fix just about anything?  Well Matt is the one that fills the jeans so well.  We know that there will be the by play of a romance blooming.  But what I loved was the lively group of senior friends who helped things along with gentle prodding.  (Sorta like having a cattle prod hit ya'!)  Now this was a good clean book that really did bring up the emotions of trust, true love and more so, just what makes a pairing right.  You might really wanna check it and Becky Wade out.
