Dreams Become Goals

I am so impressed when a person follows their dreams.  That is just what 19 year old Cayla Kluver has done.  She  self-published, digitally released and internationally released her debut title LEGACY in thirteen countries before finally finding an American publisher to take notice. Born on October 2, 1992 in Wisconsin, she has cats, dogs and horses, and can be sometimes found tap dancing to her own beat.  Oh yes, a dancer in her heart for sure.  Cayla is an inspiring young adult that frequently travels around her home state of Wisconsin motivating other teens on the mantra that it is never too early in life to reach your dreams. Most recently she started her first semester at college.  What a great path she is forging.

Cayla published Legacy in 2011 and now will release ALLEGIANCE through Harlequin books this month.   In the first book LEGACY, Princess Alera, is in her seventeenth year and faces one duty: to marry the man who will be king. But her father's choice of suitor- the egotistical Lord Steldor-fills her with despair. Now Queen Alera of Hytanica is just an eighteen-years-old and in love with the enemy.  Bound to a man she cannot love, Queen Alera must forget Narian, the young man who holds her heart.  The third book of the trilogy, SACRIFICE, will be released in November of this year.  So we can see where this all ends up at before the year is up.

I bring up Cayla for my own College Girl.  She loves to write and dreams of one day publishing her own works too.  She has several novels in the works now.  Along with college full time, looking for her first professional position in theater and graduation around the corner, she feels pressure all the time.  Writing is what takes her away from it all.  It is where she is able to be completely at peace inside.  And I just wish to share another young lady who is making her dreams reality on her own timeline.

I have to say thanks so to NetGallery.com and Harlequin for sharing Allegiance with me in e-book form.  It is great to read a new author and to have a new place to escape to.

Yippee! You came to talk to me. Thanks.
You know how special that makes me feel?
Like I swallowed the moon and the stars and I just shine now!
