Granny M and the Grandbabes

Granny M is finally back home with us again. I sure did miss her while she was off visiting. We did have issues in the truck she was using. It had gone all belly up on her. Isn't that the luck when out of town? Well, we traveled 100+ miles and towed the truck back home.

Whew!

But now we can enjoy a lil time with Granny M. And the first thing I am going to do is celebrate with a cup of tea with her. The Republic of Tea has a Eat Pray Love tea out at Cost Plus World Market. It is a blood orange cinnamon black tea and is delish. How we enjoy tea time to unwind. I have it all here. A tea tray with a lil tea pot, cup and saucer, tea bag holder, creamer and sugar.

I have had blood orange soda and loved it. But the combination of the blood orange and cinnamon is wonderful citrus and spice heaven. Sad this is a limited time only tea. So make sure to get out and grab you a tin of it. I promise you will enjoy the get away as much as we did.

Oh, by the way, there is also a great sweepstakes over at Cost Plus World Market to win a trip for 2 to either Italy, India or Bali. Worth popping over to enter. You never know, you may be the one who wins.

I also have the grandbabes here with Princess Emma. It has been a giggle of a good time. I love the lyrics of their laughter filling the house. But it is not the pitter pat of lil feet as much as the loud stomping as they run to and fro. Thank goodness for nap time though.

As the lil ones are napping my Grandbabe TK is keeping quiet and busy with her new Pocket Doodles for Young Artists book. Bill Zimmerman is the author of Pocket Doodles for Kids and is the creator of MakeBeliefsComix.com where youngsters can create their own comic strips online. We have them for car trips but found that this is a nap time perfect task. Each page has a lil help of an idea for what to doodle. Then you just add in the fun thoughts from your imagination. TK has been at it for 15 minutes and not looked up at me yet. Not easy to do for a 6 year old!

Thankfully we still have two more books, one for boys and one for girls in the car. I am pretty sure they will be filled up this week by my lil lady. Oh, and I get to enjoy the peace and quiet for just a lil while longer.

DISCLOSURE: I received a complimentary copy of these books and tea to facilitate this review. No other compensation was provided.

You know how special that makes me feel?
