The drink of the Gods, as far as I am concerned.
I love my morning coffee.
I adore having a cup all afternoon.
I can drink a cup and curl up and sleep from the warmth of it.
So my ode is to the cup.
Cup filled with that light brown mix of coffee, cream and sugar.
Do it strong and wake up.
Fill with flavored creamer and make it a social event.
Top off with some liquor to make it a party.
Wrap my hands around a hot cup of joe to sit on the front porch and watch the birds.
Java for me and Java for you while we visit at the table.
Go to the coffee shop and share the local gossip as we sip.
Summer days and chilled frappachinos while shopping.
Gotta have, wanna share and always ready.

i love coffee - im convinced that COFFEE is proof god loves us and wants us to be happy - NOT beer!!!!
