Are you seeing red? Well we were today. But it is because of the special dessert we made. I will show you in just a lil bit. But first I need to get to the end of the story. You see the Grandbabes are here with Princess Emma visiting too. I love it! We have all kinds of things to do but also a few to learn. I learned tonight that my youngest grandbabe who is almost 4 does not really understand how to brush his teeth. So we have been having lessons. Also we are learning about rising our mouths too.
First we had to get a toothpaste that was not HOT. It seems that most of the current mint ones really are too minty for kids. So we found a good one that is a light orange flavor. Well if the toothpaste is hot can you imagine what kids think of mouth wash? Thankfully we have a solution there too. The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Anti-Gingivitis Rinse fits the bill and helps to create a extra protection. Also it DOES NOT contain alcohol or artificial ingredients, making it natural and healthy for your mouth. With a mild mix of both mint and cinnamon the kiddos were very happy with it. I love that it is all natural and will not harm them in any way. Make sure to watch below for a special giveaway too!
Now why did we have such a big concern tonight? Well we had a special dessert of 'Brownie Pizza' that the kiddos helped fix. It was our regular Monday night pizza dinner so we wanted to fix a dessert that was in keeping with the theme. With all the icing, chocolate and candy toppings we really had to do a major job of cleaning our teeth. Let me show you their hard efforts.
First we put our ingredients all together.
Then Princess Emma opened up the brownie mix.
Then it was time to mix....counting to 50 strokes was a lesson in math. My granddaughter Trentati was great at helping us stay on count.
While the brownies were baking on pizza pans we had to take white icing and turn it into pizza topping. It turned out the same color as the bowl we were using.
We let the brownie cool then put it in a pizza box.
For extra gooey goodness we put chocolate glaze between the two layers of brownies.
Placed the second brownie on top and iced it with our 'pizza sauce' icing.
Then came our toppings.
Peach gummy rings sure did help replace pepperoni. My grandbabe Landon was helping create an A-B pattern with the rings.
Now time for some Reese's Pieces and Nerds for toppings.
And there we have a Brownie Pizza!
I think it turned out great.
Now for the special giveaway. Well to keep our teeth rinsed after all of that sugar we had to do a double good job. I am sure your having to do that now and then too. So now you can enter to win your own bottle of The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Anti-Gingivitis Rinse . Just use the RaffleCopter below.

ReplyDeleteThat pizza was delicious. It was fun playing photographer for this.
ReplyDeleteI think the best thing to do is get them their own toothpaste so they can have the flavor they like

Get them a flavor toothpaste so they will want to brush their teeth
ReplyDeleteI love your blog, Lenore. Sometimes we have to find fun ways to teach the kiddos to always remember to brush!
ReplyDeleteWe use the Twooth Timer which is like a tooth alarm that ticks and goes off when two minutes of brushing is up.....my kids think it is a blast. Plus, I showed them a picture of rotten teeth and it scared them into good dental habits :0)
ReplyDeleteBrush as long as the egg timer.
