Mario, Zelda & Tetris

This last week was quite draining on all of us here. Worry for Dear Hubby on top of the holidays coming up. We really just needed to destress. College Girl has been going non stop all through this semester. I feel like we are just weighted down. So we felt it was time to unwind with a lil family time.

So last night we all huddled in the living room to be mesmerized with music and colors from The Video Games Life: Level 2. Oh this is so much fun. It has the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra doing all the music of those games we spent hours playing over the last 20 years it seems. I am a fan of Tetris while Dear Hubby loves The Legend of Selda and College Girl is classic Super Mario Brothers.

I know that it was so much fun to not only hear these songs but to see the amazing graphics paired up with them.  Granny M was lost with us so she retired to her room.  But I  promise you that you would have been yelling right along with us....."I know this one!"  I adore we have this on DVD/Blu-Ray.  There is also chances to see it live if you find a tour near you.  Look here!  We found that we did not need a quiet evening to unwind at all.  Instead we needed fun, lots of it....and we found it.
